I would prefer a background with something that at least looks like its from the show, I don't know why. I might be weird  . I just feel weird when I go to play and see something from the game on the menu with a character to the right...
I prefer something like this.

You missed my point, my point is that it just makes my eyes kind of feel strange in the way my brain processes the image. Like I said, I might be weird... by the way I never said it was better.
