And what school did you get that knowledge at Konan?

I studied computer architecture (was a course along with programing and network protocols next to electronics) I know how the box works.

Here is a fun fact. Remember a few years back when Ted Stevens compared the internet to a series of tubes. It was funny as heck. But the sad fact is that he was actually partly correct. To the simple man with no knowledge of networks and computer that is a pretty accurate description. Just that the way he said it was so hilarious since it showed he knows jack squat about computers.

Why people use more than 4BG of RAM on 64 bit systems. Because they upgrade to a 64 bit system in order to use that much RAM (or if they upgrade their CPU to a 64 bit one meaning that half its power would be unused if they stuck with a 32 bit system). Everyone who uses less has the choice, but why bother when its working perfectly fine with a 32 bit system.

But for the sake of argument (and those 9 years of experience you so highly praise)

Tell me what's the point of a 64 bit system in the first place? what's the purpose behind the term "64-bit"

I rest my case.

Though on a related note to the first topic.

OCCT pretty much the best stress test software you can ask for your PC. It tests stability as well as performance and heat. It even has a PSU test.

(WARNING!!!! THE PSU TEST CAN BREAK YOUR PSU IF IT IS OLD AND NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY!!!!)

The rest of the test pretty much stress the GPU and the entire CPU chain all the way to the RAM. Logging heat signatures and so forth.

To get accurate tests you should have the test going for at least 1 hour or so.

Very useful for checking stability after overclocking any part of the system.
