It'd be better without that image of Goku and frieza and the shockwaves were animated like the explosions on the current menu

No, but you can use an roq video file or several separate animated frames. Come to IRC or talk to Baldwin about setting such a thing up. Coercing him to make a simple avi to roq guide along with instructions on using the videoMap keyword would probably be a good idea.

I have a question: it is possible via console command to make the player model invisible?
No, but it can be changed on code pretty easily. Console commands could be added for these kinds of things, I suppose. What all did you have in mind or want to do? Perhaps this merits discussion in a design thread for menu handling reworks?

Everytime I try to play my screen freezes at "awaiting snapshot" but I can hear people fighting and stuff. I just can't see it. Any ideas?
