I was watching some old Dragon Ball Z videos when I noticed that when a Super Saiyan doesn't have aura on, his hair color is really light. But the second he does have aura on, it has a golden shade to it. His clothes have a similar effect as well. It'd be nice to have this ingame especially since it doesn't seem to hard to code

To sum up what everyone else here already knows(except Domo ) no, there is currently no support for state dependent shading styles.
It's something that has been needed for a while, and the topic has come up several times, but no one, as of yet, has looked into trying to find a solution yet in the code, to my knowledge at least.
I think that this should be addressed if/when we ever get around to re-writing the aura system to be more accurate and customizable, but that's just my opinion.(I intended to investigate a few potential solutions to the various issues with the current aura system, but I have as of yet had no time to dedicate to the task...)
