So, I use Photoshop CS5 from Adobe.com as Trial for 30 Days and when the Trial is over, I use CCleaner to clean the registry and the Trial is resetted so I have another 30 days and so on.

I wonder if this works with the Trial from 3D Studio Max, if anyone knows about it, please tell me so I know if it's worth getting the Trial.

Thanks in advance. Wink

You can get free 3D Studio Max LEGALLY from their site if you register as a student.

To add to Mima's comment, you can also download Gimp instead of Photoshop, since Gimp is also free. It might not have all the exact same tools and functions that Photoshop does, but it has the most commonly used ones and isn't illegal.

Alternatively, some pen tablets(Wacom specifically) will occasionally come with a full copy of Photoshop Elements. If you're going to be using Photshop to any great degree, having a tablet is an invaluable tool, and Elements is nearly the same as CS5 at the most basic level. $100 might seem like a lot, but if you use the tablet all the time, it's worth the investment, especially considering that you're basically just paying for the tablet, and getting the software for free. Seriously, the software alone costs around $140+ for a full copy, and $80 for just an upgrade version, at least according to Bestbuy.com. So for around $100 you get the software and the tablet(this sounds a lot like a sales pitch, doesn't it...?)...

Heck, I bought my current Wacom tablet 9 years ago, and I still use it extensively today. I've been meaning to upgrade to a bigger tablet, but I never had the money to(or when I did, I decided not to, since my current one still works like the day I bought it)... But seriously, consider the option if you're looking at pursuing any form of digital artwork seriously.

You can also use lot of Ashampoo product for free.
Like Ashampoo Burning Studio 6, which is basically better than Nero 8-9-10-11..

Thanks guys, well I like using Photoshop instead of Gimp using my method with cleaning the registry.
I do use OpenOffice, Blender, I'll maybe get Sculptris if it's free, I have a Wacom Bamboo One but it comes with ArtRage 2.5.
