Zeth I'm sure that the game runs on 512 ram, right

why is it in 768 when you go and click on the game and get a fail saying that the game has failed to load 768 hunK megs

do this Zeth and reupload revison 1568

seta cg_beamSections "25"
seta com_hunkMegs "768"
seta cg_beamControl "1"

in the deaufault .cfg file, replace
seta com_hunkMegs "768"
with
seta com_hunkMegs "512"

a lot of people have this problem including me, so please fix this

This is a problem on your end. Many people have done this for themselves before, and it doesn't happen to everyone...

However, I don't remember the solution to this issue... :S

Also, one does not simply command Kami to do your bidding. Razz

In Soviet Russia, Kami commands you. Razz

Of course, this is true in any country; "Kami" is "Lloyd," and Lloyd (or any other kind of being or object that is worshipped as a lloyd) is the top dog in any culture.

ZEQ2-lite uses hunkMegs as a keyword that allocates a specific amount of memory for usage in the game. If this amount is exceeded, you'll pop back to the menu. 512 is not necessarily enough. If you play for some time and switch characters, you'll eventually run out of allocated memory.

You are free to increase/decrease this memory allocation on your own terms as you see fit to your system, but 768 is a fair amount needed for multiple characters to co-exist.

on moddb a few people had this problem, domitjen told me how to fix it, so I thought you might just do it now so people don't have to go and make newer posts about this

It's definitely on your part. In order to run the game smoothly, you have to go to your task manager and close out some processes. I recommend you get a program like Tune up Utilities, so it can allocate ram specifically to ZEQ2.exe.

And if you have a monster pc it would run the games real smooth right?

Of course, as long as you have enough RAM to run ZEQ2.exe... Smile
