"Bleach will be ending on the 27th March, with its timeslot being filled by the Naruto spinoff featuring Rock Lee.

“A recent television program listing in Japan reports that the Bleach television anime series will end its run in TV Tokyo‘s 6:00 p.m. Tuesday timeslot on March 27. When a Twitter follower of Bleach animation director Hiroki Takagi sent him an image of the listings, Takagi responded by saying, “So quick. I was going to paste it… /(^o^)\”

Shueisha, the publisher of Tite Kubo‘s original manga, had already announced that the weekly Naruto SD: Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden anime will premiere on TV Tokyo on Tuesday, April 3 at 6:00 p.m.”

With Kubo already confirming this to be the final arc in the Manga and now the Anime being cancelled, 2012 has seen a very bad start to the year for fans of the Bleach series."

Aizen? I'd say Byakuya, I feel like the rest was pointless gooey insides with action, pretty much like Cell's or Buu's sagas. I'm still reading it, anyway *intense laughter*

Esfer did Ichigo bankai yet in the last anime episode? I know the anime rapidly sped up the Byakuya fight.

I flat out ignore the bounto stuff, so Aizen still makes sense. The Byakuya thing was still the introduction stage of the anime, and a story can't end with the introduction.

Especially with questions about "white" ichigo and the mask.

the worst(and the same time, the best) part of this anime is every single character said 'I'm the strongest, you can't defeat me!" which is kind of egoist without check the opponents power level, skills etc..

Actually I think Plue would fit that role more. Seeing as it was his role in Rave already.

I'm still wondering what the author will do to him. In Rave he was practically a main character. And his appearance in fairy tail seems a tad more than just a cameo.

Then again I might be over thinking stuff.

Looking at the series, the last episode of dragonball was a gooey insides. It lets you hang a bit more if you ignore that fact.

Besides the best Dragon Ball Z ending would be Frieza.

Ichigo did say "Until we meet again" could hint something or maybe I'm thinking ahead ( weird since I don't care about this Manga at all)

If anything. Since the manga is on its last arc, and that's pretty much the next thing to happen in the anime, I'm guessing there is a bigger probability of an OVA movie episode or 2 rather than the series returning.

They created movie versions of 50 episode animes and condensed them in to 3 movie long OVAs in a way that no story is really lost and you keep the action.

Bleach has lots of Dragon Ball Z like moments where they don nothing, but stand round watching each other. Stuff like that takes up a lot of time while adding nothing really. It can be shortened while keeping the dramatic effect.

There is also an overuse of pointless text. Like explanations of what we just saw. Stuff like that can easily be removed.

So yeah its possible to condense it that much. Especially since they don't have 50+ episode arcs. Resulting in better movies.

Not to mention movies get better animations.
