Aside from the refilling health that makes todays games tinkle poor easy with little to no challenge. What exactly did HALO bring to the FPS genre?

*ponders*... Potential "World Domination?"

But seriously, it set a new standard to graphics (strictly for FPSs) with each new title, it did an excellent job in "immersing" the player as the Master Chief or other player characters in the other games, and it effectively portrayed the story while keeping interest in the player by throwinng the PC into combat regularly.

That's basically what I've seen from the series. Others would probably conclude differently.

I think you're underestimating Brad. I remember we had a Age of Empires tournament before in the old days. Which featured much more intelligent forum members and Brad still won.

The only game I really think I could challenge people in would be Warcraft 3 (mêlée maps), Freelancer, and our own sandbox, public beta 1. And probably PES, but that's unplayable online because of lag.
