Well, I also didn't know what it was about, but it seems to be a two-dimensional game, unless those 2D images are icons.

I need some clarifications.
The entire mindset of ZEQ2-lite is to encourage DEVELOPMENT.ZEQ2-lite is almost as much a sociological experiment as it is a roughly formed Dragon Ball Z sandbox. (in any form)
So this illuminates the fact that this is a place created solely for development and this game/sandbox is merely a guinea-pig.
So now, What is the purpose of the existence of this site and project? For people to learn about game development or a something for experimenting?
If someone explains this , Please be very specific.

I think he means he wants to give people an opportunity to learn game development AND is curious if this community could survive, what it would be like in the future, etc. I think that's the social experiment side of it.

I read the entire thing. It's not even worth debating with those individuals, they lack a spontaneous amount of knowledge/history/goals of ZEQ2/ZEQ2-lite. Having a fancy site does not determine the game's success.
I pity people as such. They're talking as if SVN access was granted on their behalf's, joining the IRC/development chat room, countless hours/day's debating to better the project. They obviously don't know what they're talking about. They're opinion does not matter, they lack knowledge in every aspect of ZEQ2/ZEQ2-lite from the beginning to now.

Both of you are exactly spot on. The current project we see here as players is non-existent, but as developers, we see this site as a proving ground, improving ourselves as we set off in a career that can utilize these skills. Honestly, I don't know whether there is any "experiment" going on, but it seems to me that Brad has this up to basically assist us as we grow our wings, as if we are students or something.
