Are you suggesting that they used these models? The models and textures are entirely different on both (observe the specular-baked texture or the upper leg mesh on imperfect cell, for instance).
Wouldn't it be more reasonable that they were merely ripped from a commercial Dragon Ball Z game as a lot of other individuals tend to do?

in fact those models are from Budokai Tenkaichi 3... they have too a Bardock, baby Vegeta, hercule and even some others from raging blast 2 and of course some others from Earth Special Forces...
mmm... I wonder what could happen if someone (me, who else?) put a fully Budokai Tenkaichi 3 character in this game (rigged, animated, etc.) and not only the head...

Oh yeah. I got Vegito from Raging Blast 2 in my Grand Theft Auto. And Kid Goku and Tenshinhan from that Dragon Ball Wii game. Looks pretty good.
