for this we should use landing or laaststand tree model..

don't give up.. so for that tree model you can do for your self easily..

convert the BSP of laststand in OBJ...
after open the obj with Misfit Model 3D ..select the tree model

and export selected in md3.. the texture is the same you can find in landing or laststand folder..


Or just get it from the SVN since it's been there a while.

Added WorldTournament[retextured-1.1].

Changelog 1.1:

- Fixed the size of the palm
- Fixed the color of the umbrellas
- Fixed the flags

All people have 3dsmax.. and I don't have the money to buy it.. (no plundering booty, I'm honest)

All files in the SVN repository and in the forum are in .Max format..

Blender supports all formats except .Max..

In this period I am busy.

I will continue the map another time.

You don't have to pirate 3ds Max to get it for free. I myself got it by registering as a student and downloading it on their site. It's 100% legal as long as you don't make money off the things you create in 3ds Max.

The problem is that I am no longer a student..
If I use it with a student license is illegal..

nice update luka.. can you post the brown roof texture?.. Wink looks good


this time I would make one interesting thing for this map..

new skybox textures (like a 3dsky box) I will make a city the island and the far sea..

I will put in action the perspective ..

the work continue stay tuned.. the map is already a lot deeper with this skybox.. I will draw the tournament area and AHIA is hard do this.. and some build around(far).. Wink

AHIA.. EDIT: the texture ocean DN (down) I can't change..
the angle's change every times when you move ..so look's bad.. but the other's can be changed..

the first failure..


can't do much more with the skybox.. when you move I don't like so any build or anything will look weird,,when you move, you will notice easily that is another part not part of the map..

but without any detail ,just one static color will look right(even not detailed) but make at least the map DEEPER.. so try this .. Wink

Hmmm first time I see this thread.

While I commend you guys for trying, let me say that you're never going to be able to make this map decent without uvw mapping. Nello you should be able to do it. Qwerty probably is able to export it the max file again after that.

One example is the seats and stairs. They need to get some textures shadows and details so they can be noticable.

So all in all, nice try, but you can (and should) do better. So get it into 3dsmax, learn some decent uvw mapping, apply yourselves to do some decent texturing (not blurred trash ripped from episodes) and make this into something I could be proud of. Otherwise I would think it's a shame my palm textures are wasted on this.

sure I'm able to do that.. I'm not focusing so much and I think that I will not for this.. this map before need more improvements about the modells almost at all..

and need not just the ring but all the things around..

this map is just the recompiled,with some retexturing..

now I'm just trying the effect to make deeper the map, is sure that can't be perfect in this way...
but pretty or decent to play..

That's very uninspiring Nello. How about trying to texture the model of the tenkaichi budokai that's been sitting in the svn? I bet that one is a lot more complete.

Hmm isn't there one? I assumed there was. I know ZEQ2 had a tenkaichi map in the past. I remember with pictures of Darksun Goku and Majin Vegeta. Maybe Brad can clear that out.
