I have an intel core duo running at 2.2ghz.
An ATI Radeon HD 2300 (256MB of memory)
2GBs of RAM.
And everytime I open this game, it runs at ONE frame per second, 1 - 5 frames per second. Why is that?

Is it possible you are running ZEQ2-Lite Revolution? If so, then that's why.

Are you running lots of background programs? Your PC may be slow because it is having to switch between too many programs to run them efficiently.

Nope. It's weird my friend has a worse gpu than I do and it runs smoothly for him. Meanwhile I get 1 - 5 frames with no background programs.

you're pc is good dude! actually you are running too many programs in background for you're pc I recommend windows xp and latest gamebooster. And you're biggest fps problem fix is install visual c++ 2010. okay!
I have intel corei3 running at 3.06 ghz, 4 gb ram (3.18 gb usable) and 1.3 gb video memory (Intel HD) and windows 8. At first when I installed windows 8 I was also facing this problem but after visual c++ 2012 my problem got fixed.
