Haha, Domitjen dude you kill me with your post.
Too big and too good.
Here is reason for that Earth Special Forces guy:
1. lacking to play ZEQ2-Lite
2. Scared that ZEQ2-Lite will be the best game

Anyway guys about that Earth Special Forces final, in their mêlée you can't stop someone when he killing you in mêlée.
so you just wait drink coffe or something until he finish. That is why all like ZEQ2 Lite, why????
mêlée is a lot of better, guys do great job.
No one but really no one want to that guy if he is lucky killing you for 20 sec and you just watching it.
Come on guys, even in real life when someone attack you, you can attack him back.
Anyway, like Domitjen said, you can play ZEQ2 Lite on every PC, you don't need to buy or install anything.

Well, Earth Special Forces has balanced beam and fighting system with lot of animations but ZEQ2-Lite has smaller amount of animations and if you make your fan character overpowered like GT April Fools than you can kill anybody and fearsome creature partying in servers making this game a fearsome creature arena.

And I can remember the first official freeza had some serious fast deathball attack..that and kid Buu's death ball and brolys big..ball? is a pretty strong but spamming attack since after 30x shoot you see nothing but white light from the map.

But far as I know the latest release is a little bit optimized but still Earth Special Forces has a cool beam struggle and don't had that bug when you shoot a beam, change character fast and a beam is following you before explode.

Both games are wonderful, and they will be legendary when they are finished!!! I don't know which game is better, as long at it has Dragon Ball (Z) in it I'm a happy camper.

that's honestly potentially mistaken from a certain perspective , final is on another level but considering zeq2lite is open sourced anything can happen in the future by the time final is released , also 1 more thing

domitjen mentioned the character models are of a higher quality which is a false statement considering the new revisions of the models being done by gundam

in the end both are different projects with different goals , you can't match the 2 , 1 strives for accuracy , 1 strives for sheer fun game play

What I would like to see is both ZEQ2 and Earth Special Forces to get together and make a fantastic Dragon Ball Z game. Even though you guys say it's not a game but everyone thinks it is. Cause if both got together you guys could basically make a awesome Dragon Ball Z game in which both ZEQ2 and Earth Special Forces could take the good from both of their games and learn from the bad and progress. Just wanted to say that and thank you for your time. PEACE!!

The creators are to egoistish and they think their work is to precious for that and they want two great product instead of one fantastic since then they need to please the other team members to join forces and if they say 'no thanks", that's destroy the whole ego-pride.

And the second thing is, while ZEQ2 is an open source Earth Special Forces is not so ZEQ2-Lite team just can't say to Earth Special Forces Team: hey dudes if we join forces make it open source!
But its improbable, mainly because its two gaming engine..there just no way to fuse them even if there's lot of similiarities..
You just can't say: hey your player models not bad but why don't we use my cartoon-like cell shading system? Cell shade in realistic world not look that good that's why ZEQ2-Lite maps looks cartoonish and Earth Special Forces maps looks so real. Its because the shading of the characters. And if Earth Special Forces Team want to change the shading they can do it easily but therey no way to decide which fighting system or shading or effect better, but even if they can:
1.they made the fans angry
2.loose community members and support
3.it's not a good feeling you loose what you built in years just for one man

I honestly like both games,I can't wait for ZEQ2 lite to be in its final version, I know its going to take a while and stuff, but I bet it will be better then Earth Special Forces's final, other then that I really like Earth Special Forces as well, but I don't get while people always compare the two, almost like Dragon Ball Z and naruto...everyone has their own opinion so yeah
