I have latest revision of the game. I have download about 10 characters and added them as it said in the guides in the forum and yet they all look like Goku when game starts. Can someone helm me?

You will need to edit all .skin files. Look at how the Goku skin file is organized.. do that for every character. Instead of 3 skin files, you will need only 1.

But do You create a game or join a game? maybe the server that You joined doesn't have those characters.

There was tomething like cell fix a while ago, maybe that's the case

I just did an ofline game.
I got good news. I tried to do what Mima said and it worked with Goget Super Saiyan 4. I just opened the .skin files with notepad and then made them same as Goku's. Thanks Mima!!!

Edit: If someone has the same problem I can upload the skin file, also I'll fix the skin files of the other characters I havde download and I can upload them too.

There are really a lot of .skin files.
Goku has 5 Tier folders and every folder has tens of .skin files. :/
What to open? What to edit?

All you got to do is get revision 1536 and the cell fix. Then every character will work like normal as it should.

Thanks Domitjen. I have used Tortoise SVN and made update but then it says:
Completed: At revision: 1563

What now? How can I get revision 1536?

Right click -> TortoiseSVN submenu -> Update to revision -> Type 1536 -> Hit okay.

Anything above revision 1536 is for development purpose only. You can recognize if you are on the wrong version when you respawn with 99% damage, can't transform and have a lot of lag while flying. Reverting to 1536 fixes all of these problems. (This is under the assumption that you are playing on a rev 1536 server of course).

I'm talking about the official models that come with revision 1536. If you want to use addon characters, then you will need to change the .Skin files manually like explained before in some thread.

okay if you downloaded some addon characters and they are Goku ingame I'll help you..

First make sure that scripts from the file you download is in the ZEQ2/scripts folder
Same as the player and other kind of stuff..
Open tier file of the skin you downloaded. There should be 3 files named "head.skin, upper.skin, lower.skin")
Open all of those files with notepad.. And copy EVERYTHING from "upper.skin" and "lower.skin" to head.skin. Do not replace anything , just add that!
Now save changes to head.skin, and rename head.skin to default.skin (you don't really have to type .skin, I didn't)
Now you don't have Head.skin, but you have upper.skin and lower.skin.. With those 2 files you can do anything, delete them if you want, nothing will change..
And now you're ready to go!
