Here it's played on the PlayStation Vita
It's also available on the PC.
I started playing the Japanese version with an English patch(most is still in Japanese though) the other day.
I followed this guide: Click me
It's a bit different from what it looks like today but I can probably help you out if you get stuck somewhere.
Do try to solve it yourself before asking for help though.
Download English patch here
I chose to play on Ship02 as mentioned in the guide.
Different ships work like different servers.

I am on Ship 2 Level 10 name KooriShi. I was going to try it on the VITA but you have to factory reset just to play on a JPN account. Too lazy to do that.

windows XP I have but I only Have 512 RAM...*laughing out loud*
why would I even try if I know it won't work on my PC

It was so you could compare it to your own system and for others' knowledge if they had the same worries.
Never said you should try it if it won't work on your computer.

We play it on PC.
But it's cross platform, people with PC and Vita can play together and your character/account is usable on both.
