Ouch, I know that feel. I broke both my radial and elbow bones while playing football a few years ago and it's really painful. But don't worry, you'll get used to the cast quite soon and it won't stop you from having a completely normal life (except when you're having a shower, it's a pain in the buttocks...).

yeah its painfull..but the good thing is I got one healthy hand,I just need to rest a lot though.I broke it doing basketball.

when you got a broken bone, you can feel as you can't feel anything for a moment ,but will be a shocking moment see that your forearm goes away,or if the arm is bend away .. you just take care..
and how this happened?..just my curiosity..
falling down with rollerblades, skateboard,longboarding falling? arm wrestling?
ah yeah basketball..

I broke my arm too last night by playing soccer and falling on the ground and I'm still thinking how did I fell to sratch my right knee and break my left elbow 
Now the best part that made the doctor laugh was my "praise" (the doctor said it like that) how I told him that now, I'm complete, by that I mean that I broke both of my legs, both arms and two times cracked the head
