first of all hello and sorry for my bad English ^^

I started to play this game yesterday and was overwhelmed by how many different versions of the game exist!
I started with a version where I could play just 10 characters, then I got told I have to get the gold edition.
Which I did and now I've seen that there is a revolution 6 edition which provides even more characters...
So which is the newest or best version of the game and where can I download it?

Next thing is the fighting system.
When I press G to focus someone how am I able to punch him or to block attacks?
Everytime I get killed in a "focusfight" I respawn with a somekind of buggy view, my crosshair is on the right side of the screen and stays there no matter what I do.
So I always have to relogg to solve the problem.

sorry for the long text and I hope someone can help me with that Smile

All of those "revolutions(2,3,4,5,6,gold edition)are gamepacks that contain characters and maps(called addons).ZEQ2 lite is a Project not a game.To attack you first need to lock on by pressing G,then you need to move towards the enemie and attack with right/left click.
To block you can set a button in options but regular is ctrl.Oh and you can download the latest revision from SVN.

here:
http://ZEQ2.com/lite/?page_id=33
that explains what SVN is and how to use it.
About the view just press esc when in game and choose "camera".Make your camera view as you like and that's that.

You can download TortoiseSVN from http://tortoisesvn.net/ Smile

The installation is fairly straight-forward, and I'll go ahead and explain it's usage right away!

Create a folder anywhere on your hard drive, called anything - I suggest ZEQ2-Lite. Right click on the folder, and an option called SVN Checkout should be visible. If it is not, make sure you DID restart your computer following the installation of TortoiseSVN.

When you click SVN Checkout, it should ask for a reporsitory/link, copy and paste the ZEQ2 Lite one. Instead of HEAD Revision, tick the option Revision and type in the number 1536.

It should download no problem, and you'll have the Stable Revision installed. This should result in less crashing/disconnecting from servers/game bug sorcery Smile

what the aging process?
"
Step 1: Download TortoiseSVN
Step 2: Create a new folder.
Step 3: Right click on the folder. SVN > Fresh Checkout
Step 4: Use the following URL : http://ZEQ2.com/SVN/Build
Step 5: Put in the current stable revision instead of head revision. (Revisions above the stable revision are for Development purposes only).
"
Look at the step 4..... Rolling Eyes

oops.... I guess my eyes didn't word as intendet ^^

now lets get to my last question (hopefully)
how can I mix up different game version?
can I play against people which have an other version than my own?
AND the very last thing,
when I doenloaded all Files via SVN can I put other gameversion or other charackters in it?

I tried to use the SVN checkout but I always get "checkout failed"
"'/SVN/!svn/bc/1885/BUILD' path not found"
don't know what I am doing wrong

For the most part, all the characters in those "revolution" addon packs are simply addons to the base game, and should be universally interchangeable with most SVN versions of the client, post Public Beta 1. So in short, yes, you can add more characters to pretty much every version if you know what you're doing.

As for your error, I'm not too sure since I've not seen that one before... Where were you installing everything to through the SVN checkout (the directory on your computer), and are you sure you're entering the correct URL exactly as it appears and following all the steps exactly as given in the instructions?
