You need to use command /video when you loaded the demo in-game. It will start converting it in video file, it will lag but the result will be great. After that a video will be created in videos folder.

That's not the answer he wanted. You suggested bandicam to him. I prefer ZEQ2-lite recorder more because when it's all done it doesn't lag like with other recorders.

dm_68 files ?
You can read them on quake or urban terror (and maybe ZEQ2 I didn't tried)
Or like fireman said, do /video to convert dm_68 files to .avi, the problem is when you do that you have to wait the video is finish (the game convert while playing the video) and the convertion slow down the video while converting *intense laughter* but it render good after
You got your video with full resolution (instead of fraps and bandicam) with 30 fps ^^
I hope I helped and didn't missed something ^^

Just use a video editor or find a file converter online.

1.Open ZEQ2 Lite
2.Open console in main menu
3.Open your demo and watch example: /demo demoname
4.When the demo opens again open console and type
/video videoname video name will be the name you choose to be
5.Wait the recording to stop, it will be slow so be patient after it's done it will exit to main menu
6.Video file is in video folder
Nothing can go wrong if you've followed the steps

I don't think a file converter can convert this type of file. And you can convert it from the game (Q3A tools)
