I'll take a look into this, but where have you put your ZEQ2Lite svn folder? And does it contain everything else besides ZEQ2.app? Like the ZEQ2 folder?

The PlayStation 2 emulator (PCSX2) IS LEGAL, as long as you use your own bios from your own PlayStation 2 to run the emulator and do not run pirated games on the emulator. If it was illeagal, then Sony would of stoped their progress long ago!

Also, installing Windows over Mac is also NOT illeagal.

the file is default.cfg, if your game is looking for Default.cfg (big D) try renaming it from default to Default

I will see if I can get it running on the mac computers in this house(my dads house because he likes mac) later today and let you know. I just downloaded the latest revision so I will probably run into the same problem. I am back from college and my little brothers want to play this with me while I am here. I should be able to get it running for them. (good thing you have linux now, otherwise I wouldn't bother. Windows takes a good 5 minutes to boot whilst linux takes 20 seconds).

Hello, I have a macbook air with an intel graphic card.
I have the svn version of ZEQ2 and I have put default.cfg on ZEQ2 directory.

The game start, the ZEQ2's movie start and game crash with this message at the end

I'm not certain on the mouse acceleration issue you are having, but Arnold may know more if it relates to MacOS exclusively. I'd normally suggest a quick zeq2config.cfg cvar change for cl_mouseAccel, but it's already off by default.

Last question, with mac's version, can I connect on ZEQ2's server where start on linux or windows ?

Yes. Cross-platform client/server connectivity is supported.

Sorry about this, the mac version hasn't had the sources built from the latest revision in a while.

It only works on an older revision number for now. Check the SVN logs for when the mac version was last built, and use that version, don't update.

It would be great if we had a dedicated Mac build maintainer

thanks for your responses. For mouse acceleration, I test with sours HID and it's okay, but after no problem without.

For wine, yes I not test, I have tested by the way with VMWare fusion but I have had a problem on color.

I have read mac version is in development. I will use wine for the moment or older version.

My version on Mac was working fine yesterday and now it says It closed due to incorrect video settings and it says do you want to start in safe video settings and I click open in safe video settings and it never opens

To get it working on Mac you have to do this.
I play on Mac f.why.I



1) Download ORIGINAL ZEQ2

-- that should work on Mac without you having to do ANYTHING.


2) Download the REVO3,F3 or whatever version you are trying to run.

3) Copy the APP file ( the one you click to begin playing ) from the ORIGINAL ZEQ2.

4) Delete the APP file ( ^^ ) from the MODDED ZEQ2

5) Paste/Replace the APP file into the MODDED ZEQ2.

Run the game.
