Oozaru Mode?!

Hi Guys, I have some ideas roaming in mind since this morning and need a discussion. but first, do Oozaru Mode Transformation allowed in Public Beta 2?,
I think of course exactly because it'll be about the Saiyans Saga.
if then let me set my ideas.
- First: About its transformation. I guess its Better comes on chains like the anime did, energy Grows first then muscles, body, ending with the whole body growth.


- second: according to his Size (because he'll be the Biggest in ZEQ2), he'll definitely has his Unique attacks and moves besides. I found in the series his flight has been switched off. so he can't fly. Only Shoots from his Ground Position and has an Incredibly Jump instead.
(he only flied on Bebi's Saga's with Bebi in Vegeta's Oozaru Body)
- third: if we're about his attacks. he'll has - I suggest - two modes of them: first when he fights with a normal Character, Like Vegeta in Saiyan Saga when he transformed. he was just Smash Ground and Squeeze Goku's Body
and the second form, when he fights another of his kind (another Oozaru)- everyone watchout, because it'll be a freaky incredible battle. he'll has his attacks like the Normal Characters then. that's exactly with his Ki and Beam Fires and attacks.
- fourth: the Condition of his Trans. I suggest his transformation Occurrence must be in certain maps with fully completed moon shape. though it must be at Night. to simulate his transformation mattar beside. that Rage bar TRL mentioned in Chibi Gohan Model Thread is an excellent idea that measures how enough energy for Performing it.
- Finally: fighting Strategy, I guess there's one way to fighting this Monster with a normal Character. escaping him *laughing out loud*. which means. if he triggered engaging with him just trying - if possible runs or - yeah- fly away and shots for how far he his. I think that's the only weak point of Oozaru ,and of course beside cutting his tail.

those're some ideas I thought and need to discuss them, thanks.

It's possible, but it wouldn't be very convincing looking. Mainly because the player bounding boxes are set to one size only, in regards to interaction with map collision. So if Oozaru was right up to a wall, he would be half inside it. Same with ceilings of rooms, half his body would be inside it. However, we can make the player bounding box for getting hit by attacks larger, but that also has its problems. Because it would be a large box, you might try shooting between its legs and the attack will still explode on him. Attack collision would be very inaccurate because its only a single large box representing the player.

It can be done, but it will would be glitchy.

No Oozaru without glitches? Disappointing, I thought a good game would have a working Oozaru in it for sure.

Actually, Dave, we can increase the size of the player's bounding box, Tenken managed to add scriptable boundingbox sizes to NNDLite's codebase. It interacts with the scenery just fine. I've been thinking it needs to be backported to ZEQ2Lite along with some other features but haven't got around to it.

However, this does still leave the problem of, as Dave said, attacks hitting the bounding box when it looks like they should go through the legs or over the shoulder of a massive character. I do want to add per-bone collision meshes support to the skeletal format which would get around this issue, but that's not as important as other aspects

Another big problem in the way of implementing massive characters is combat interaction. Ki attacks would work fine, but mêlée would need a serious overhaul with different rules depending on if it's two normal sized characters fighting or two massive characters or a normal sized one and a massive one and further sets of rules if we have a greater range of sizes.

It's far from as simple as just making the character big, there's a lot more which has to be considered on a code level and there's plenty of more important features to be worked on.

but what if increased the amount of bounding boxs?, I know these words are insane. but if possible this done it could solve the problem. like make two or three.

*rolling on floor laughing* monster chick Razz by the way...what if we would make the Oozaru like they did in dragonball evolution?? like make it smaller..I know it'll rule but still.we would at least have an Oozaru trans?
still would be cool to have the ozaroo trans...but I think it'll be MUCH more easier to make it as a single character or make it available only to a few characters (like Saiyan saga Gohan,Vegeta,Nappa and Raditz..and if someone is going to surprise us..why not kid Goku(from Dragon Ball))
