Game specifications

hey I'm not sure if this belongs here but I'm going to wing it
I just want to know what are the required game specifications?
I mean I downloaded the game but it runs super slow. even with some high settings down or off.
Should I just try to buy a new computer or give up?

1 GHz CPU Pentium 3 or higher.

256MB RAM (512MB recommended).

Any Geforce or Radeon graphics card made in the last decade, preferably not Intel integrated GPU's.

That should run it at least 30fps consistently with bloom lighting off. Turn bloom lighting off in the 'Game Options' menu if you get horrible slowdown.

Make sure you have the latest official drivers from your graphics card manufacturer installed.

Make sure you have the correct Visual C++ 2008 Re-distributable pack installed.

Make sure your copy of Windows is up to date with Windows Update.

Make sure everything downloaded correctly with Tortoise SVN, and that you have installed the x86 or x64 version of Tortoise SVN depending on your Windows installation.
