I think akira toriyama has planned Super Mega Ultra Mega Hyper Xtreme (times two) and more Dragon Ball GT episodes, but it didn't have success so he sell dball to toei and they didn't make more Dragon Ball GT episodes.
I read that, maybe it's not true

toei planned more episodes for Dragon Ball GT, but it was cut due to it not being successful enough. That's why there are only 65 episodes.

Did you know Akira Toriyama ONLY did DRAGONBALL MANGA?
Toei did ANIME.
Toei made Dragon Ball GT on their own, Toriyama only helped with the first designs and that is all.
Toriyama didn't made Dragon Ball GT, nor Dragon Ball April Fools', or even Dragon Ball Z.
