I downloaded the public beta 1, extracted this file folder to one of my Drive.
When I start the launcher file in the public beta 1 that is ZEQ2.exe it shows an error:
"D:\ZEQ2\ZEQ2.exe This application failed to start because the aplication configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."
Please someone tell me that does this happen because I don't have Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)?
Please help me!!!

Maybe you should reinstall like suggested?
It helped for me when I had this problem.
Installed it in a totally new map.

you have to install Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86 in order for it to work

I have the same proble, I recenly had a virus, it's gone now. I been had the game installed but when I tried play the game it did not work, I even tired to reinstall it

Removed posts, coldskin this isn't a chat room.
The solution to your problem is already posted here. If it's still not working, there must be something wrong with your Windows installation. Is it Genuine? Needs to be Genuine to install the visual c++ pack.
What errors are you getting? What are your PC specifications?

Sounds like you didn't get everything. SDL.dll is included in the base install from the SVN and from the zip. Try to redownload things.

How much ram and/or virtual memory do you have available?

my computer has been restored again and I have the same problem
I already installed SVN and vcredist_x86
I even try to to reinstalling it
