I downloaded the game and did all by instructions, but it still won’t open !!! when I click to ZEQ2.exe icon it reports an error : ”This applcation has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application might fix this problem”

- I installed Microsoft Visual c++2008 redistriutable - x86 9.0.21022: it didn't work

(I downloaded this one from the microsoft web-site, I didn't use the one on mediafire, even though they are the same I guess, because it is infected with a virus)

- I reinstalled the game: it didn't work
- I tried a V c++ from 2005, it didn't work AGAIN

Operative system is Windows XP SP2

PLEASE HEEEELP, I'M VERY tinkled OFF BECAUSE OF THIS !!! Evil or Very Mad

@MDave: I'm not sure, but I think XP SP2 is 32bit

@Cracker08: I've written earlier that Visual C++ Redist. from the link you posted is INFECTED by a VIRUS. I've downloaded the same Visual C++ 2008 Redist. from somewhere else and it still didn't work, so, Visual C++ 2008 is not a problem.

One more thing, how come everyone recommend this link from MEDIAFIRE.COM, when my antivirus program (I use Avast) reports it as a virus? Are these false readings or what?
