So I recently downloaded this, looks pretty cool, I'm pretty sure I've got this dedicated server thing figured out, I can join my own servers (by typing in my ip in the console while opening up another copy of zeq2lite)
So here I am now wondering if any of you can join, is so give it a shot and let me know!
Will be mostly up 24/7 based in southern california
Edit: Server no longer has addons.
To connect to this server you do not need to enter an ip address simply start your game open up the console and type connect asisdead.no-ip.org and you will join the server. Thanks to DarkStar181992 for helping me set this up.

Well I'm going to go eat dinner now, I'll stay in the server so if anyone manges to connects your prize is to destroy me while I'm Away From Keyboard  maybe if we're lucky we can get some people in here

Well the good news is people are able to join the server, after about 30 minutes of getting destroyed I'll leave the server up and running for you guys, ip has already been posted any addon requests for the server?

you don't need to make treads like this, when you make a server it will be displayed on gametriger, and there you can see your server or other hosted servers. to go on gametriger go in chat and you have the link up.

Yeah, I thought about not even posting but I checked gametiger beforehand and it doesn't show up. I have it set to mods, then showing things with ZEQ2 in them, maybe I'm just doing it wrong

you're not doing it wrong dude many people makes servers but they are not shown on gametiger
anywaay good job of making a server

If you host a server, please host a Non addon one, cause those servers really rule in my opinion. Some addons have one hit kill attacks and then the players who don't have those addons can't even see the attacks and are killed instantly by a invisible beam...
The really good players use normal Goku,picture and Raditz on non addon servers

Well I've been hearing you say that on the forums after browsing around, I'm just wondering if when people connect to my server, will they download my addons similar to how steam will handle server side mods/addons on that server, or will they log in and not be able to use said addons?
Edit: And I'm not really sure where to put this but I was looking some at Hamachi servers, not really sure what they are/how to get them working but I downloaded the Hamachi client and if there is anyone browsing this post that knows how to set that up that would be awesome.

if they don't have the same add-ons as you have they will suffer *intense laughter*. add-ons are for fun, but if you want some real game play, go play without addons. add-ons- owerpowered, unbalanced.

if you want to host a 24/7 server you should make an account on no-ip.com then download the duc software.So if any body wants to connect to you're server they have to just type you're no-ip.com account for example.(you.no-ip.com) you don't have to every time post the ip. It is free also.

^ true. But Domitijen is talking about even with addons people still play as Goku Piccolo and Raditz(sometimes)

I didn't close the server, if the server goes down, its either because I'm moving my computer, restarting it for an update and forgot to turn the server back on etc, it isn't a dedicated computer that hosts ZEQ2 its my main computer that I just leave the server running in the background 24/7. So if it goes down just check back later and it should be back up
