Alien Swarm is a re-worked edition of the Alien Swarm mod for Unreal Tournament 2004. Since the original team was invited to work with Valve, they released the game completely free using the newest to-date Source Engine, along making the ability to create mods more seamlessly, without buying a Source game anymore. You just install Alien Swarm, it's SDK and you're on!
