I once tried myself to add an animated isle on my map and it didn't work maybe you can ask JadenKorn or Bradless I'm sure they know about this come to the irc
it can be done in Radiant you can make objects move on a path in there, find some tutorials on it (search for NetRadiant, Q3Radiant AND GTKRadiant )
