In any case if you haven't yet already, try Civilization 3-5. Nothing beats the feeling of taking over the world. The game is on an epic scope that RTS games just can't reach, accept for Rise of Nations which had that take over the world mode too.

Civilization is not an RTS. Its a TBS >.<

I never said that. I compared it to RTS games, because of the history theme a lot of them share.
I don't know what a TBS is though, I consider Civilization in a league of it's own.

Edit: figured it out, it's turn based strategy game right? Well yeah...
