that's why my GS Editions have HIGH and LOW configs to, for slower PC's..so you can't say, Beta 2 not run smooth on older PC.(course not on max graphics).

Same there..just because you don't use the proper driver.
And..NVIDIA GeForce is better my opinion.

I used ATI 8 year long..
-bad driver handling
-black screen at installing(sometimes black screen won't gone, so need restart..)
-cheap but the only good thing is the crossfire
-don't have Physx support, because Nvidia owns the Physx engine/driver etc..
-bad profile handling, sometimes not load automatically the profile..
-new driver have new things but lost some good option..
And lot other thing, so that's why I don't like ATI..cheap, but ATI is kind of like..dog food. *laughing out loud*

Texture Antopisty low 3x
This was not changed at all between the public beta and Development SVN. The UI may not have properly reflected it, but the CVARS to adjust the values already existed. Are you perhaps referring to the (temporary) setting of all character textures as having no mipmapping?
Heavy lag for XP or older,
Bad, bad graphics for XP,
(Also known as Development SVN non-working for XP)
Again, there's no strong difference here. It's the same general executable and design. The particle effects can be toned down in user options like usual. Yes, the lack of mipmaps on the characters will cause frame-rate drops on old OLD machines and yes, some of the additional particle or overlay effects will cause very mild performance changes, but neither of these should be very significant.
Unless perhaps the MING compiled exe has an issue? If that's the case, test and see if the ZEQ2msvc one does as well.
