cool man like the idea of a world map maybe in some pb maybe 4 5 there will be you one like in the bt2 on the PlayStation 2 thaty would be awesome

Well this map will never be uploaded, in the matter and fact Baldwin and trl said they are going to make an idea but "NOOO" they will just keep it into their locking ridiculous saving "can" so no one will never know.

This engine can't handle a 'world map".
Maybe if the map use the same optimization, as Tony Hawk American Wasteland.
So you can see the neighboring places, but those places just background pictures, 'Ornaments", and if you go closer to..glaciers, than the glaciesrs map start loading and than you on other server(glaciers map).
So its a good option for a 'world map" with lot of servers.

Than you have a feeling, you on a whole planet, and no need to leave the server for change map/server.

The engine supports it just fine, a world map just needs a bit more elbow grease than a typical map would to optimize it for low end PCs...

What about area loading system? Like..Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion? Or small amount of details..

I'm no coder, but I imagine it's possible, and probably doable, but probably won't be done with the current engine.

The idea of a world map would not really be ideal for the engine. I do think it would be possible, in a sense, to modify the engine to give similar performance. Have boundaries to the maps that would make another area load. Though, I see many problems with coding this from the Q3A engine, I am unsure if the modifications to the ZEQ2 engine would make it possible.

In the likelihood of it not being possible, perhaps the map selection system could be developed like this for an official release. Have maybe 10-15 maps available and the map selection screen would be a dragonball world map and selecting certain areas would load that area's map.

But the main idea was to make a map containing mostly water and some islands with certain areas on them like cities and stuff I wrote before Razz
