Hello, I'm just a 15 year old, whos interested in 3D model basics. (I'm not expecting my self to make an Goku model right off the bat *intense laughter*). Also, my school is starting to teach 3D models in a few weeks so I thought I might as well get prepared. So any links and softwares that I can use?

Just go on youtube and do a search for tutorials for whichever software you decide to use, there's plenty of good ones.

You can use Blender ( www.blender.org ) if you don't want to buy 3ds max.

no I would recommend 3D studio max , blender in my experience was not easy to use at all , 3ds max on the other hand was user friendly ( 3ds max 2009 ) , I'm sure your multimedia school will teach you with 3ds max and not to mention its superiority over blender
