Pulled the latest SVN and had a go. It looks fantastic. Bit of capture under Linux.

Keep up the solid work.

Domitjen noted on our site that
"You downloaded the latest svn but not the most stable one.
The playable/stable svn version is 1536, anything above that is for development purposes. So if you want to play online, use revision 1536
Right click your zeq2lite folder, tortoiseSVN, update to revision, then enter 1536."
Instructions for that REV? Keep in mind, we are the Linux crowd.

I could be mistaken, but Rabbit VCS should have a similar right click shell-type context menu to perform actions. I'm not sure on particular commands for the various console-based SVN clients in unix environments though.
Arnold (our linux maintainer) should be able to answer that question though.

Thanks, I ended up doing it via CLI. RapidSVN will work for a GUI.
Quick question if I may. Why is spectator disabled? I see you guys are setting up a tournament and in my honest opinion it would be fantastic to capture it.

There are no active programmers working on the project as far as I know so revision updating was pretty much halted back in March (otherwise you'd see daily commits on the blog). I believe spectator mode was disabled either due to conflict from some code merging or accidentally and indirectly from a certain feature extension.

Thanks you for that.
Been working on the capture system (no FRAPS for Linux) and we are almost there.

Don't get me right. I like your trailer but it's in 4:3 without game sounds.
Might work something up on the Linux side.

Feel free to make one. My trailer was purely fanmade and in no way official in any sort of way.
But if you make one, please make a notice somewhere that this isn't a real game yet and is not really meant to be played. This is just the svn version going public.

No worries, the whole point of a devel trailer is to gather eyes (and help) for the project. My initial capture was posted on Linuxgames.com http://www.linuxgames.com/archives/17115 . Tricky business, this

I used to watch LinuxGames.com a year ago, watch news and gameplay videos about games for Linux, and it was informative, up until I temporarily lost interest in gaming on Linux and even on Windows shortly after that. Great effort! But reading the last news about Gabe's podcast, I thought he should give up his fatness 5 times to make the Linux client come true. Meanie!
However, there is a minor bug with the 64-bit version of the game, which can be compiled, but it's not present currently in the SVN. If you're interested in how, I could give you a short summary on how to compile it and test it for yourself, so that you can see what exactly is the problem.
You can either contact me via here, PM, or if privately, you can ask for my I'm details over PM.
