nope it started out as
ZEQ2 in 2002 I think? and after that project went dead they brought it back
as zeq2lite
so when you refer to this game as ZEQ2 you're actually reffering to the dead old game and not this one but whatever =P

lite has way more quality to there models and better gameplay all that stuff

Actually, ZEQ did exist. It was a Bid For Power addon pack.
ZEQ2 "Lite" also has LESS quality and overall LOWER expectations/goals in comparison to ZEQ2.

really? it seems like zeq2lite has more quality based on the pictures I've seen from ZEQ2

Pictures of the in development version you mean. They don't show all the goals of the finished versions.
