A few years after its released this pops up.
kind of surprised ^^
In any case the story is just awesome. I feel sorry for some of the cast though. Lo luck at all I guess. Especially Simon *intense laughter*
*Simon talking to kids*
"Just who do you think I..."
*Sees kids ignoring him*
"Never mind. I guess I'm no one"
*walks away*
But yeah I really loved the movie adaption of it to. While the story was rushed I kind of got the feeling the anime was dragging on at times, where the movie goes straight for the punch line.

that's what I'm saying. Its 27 eps, and yet at times it still felt like dragging on with pointless stuff. The bath house ep would be a perfect example.
They told the exact same story as 27 eps with 2 movies. And not only that, they even made it more action packed than the original 27 eps was, keeping all the great moments and actually making some better.
Unlike gundam style movies where you are missing out on story, you didn't get that feeling from the 2 OVA movies of TTGL.

I loved the end of ttgl with simon vs the anti spiral but I won't get into that just incase someone decides to watch it and *laughing out loud* the bath house episode was funny as heck though

yeah that was nice, though done better in the movie *intense laughter*
Though honestly I prefered the fight against lord Genome ^^

Well if its good anime you want watching, then you might want to check out baccanno. Just be prepared as the thing jumps round 3 years and you'll be switching at least once per episode. Storyline is solid, characters are fun to watch, animation is pretty good and I was hooked on it from ep 1 *intense laughter*
