My name is Benjamin, I'm a current student at ITT-Tech and I'm about to get my associates for multi-media in march  .. anyway, I love modeling but my hearts is set on animating characters. I heard this ZEQ2-Lite gives you the option to create mods or edit mods I believe. any way I choose this instead of Earth Special Forces because of the the creating aspect. I don't know much of ZEQ2-Lite and Earth Special Forces, I just started doing research on it today.. if any one can help me get started with everything, I would really appreciate it, I want to help out with anything I get my hands on. If it helps, I work allot with 3DS max software and I'm good with Photoshop and okay with modeling. I still have allot to learn but I gotta start somewhere

Vegeta, I wanted to download the Tortoise SVN.file but it say it might harm my computer, I want to be able to use this program but if my computer catches a virus, I won't be able to do anything  , what should I do?, and are there additional files that need to be downloaded?

Actually Tortoise SVN has no viruses on it, trust me
Sometimes antivirus warns for a virus, but there is no one.

Hello. I am an administrator on the forums so for all the questions you can always come to me in private message, or here.
First off, let me welcome you to the forums, and the community as well. ZEQ2-Lite is an open sourced so that means you can already take all resources from the game, and play with them.
Yes, you can create other mods using ZEQ2-Lite as base, but this project is still unfinished, so it might still be a bit hard for any new mods.
Here you can meet many new people that are willing to share their knowledge in anything really. You said you were interested in animations.. Here you can get help for that as well.
Choosing between ZEQ2-Lite and Earth Special Forces is really unnecessary. Both projects are great, both communities are positive from what I have seen, and you will be able to learn from both.
About your computer saying that TortoiseSVN has some problems.. All these people here use TortoiseSVN and it really doesn't have any malware. Neither does this game

that's a relief, I wanted to join both, I was affraid people were going to judge me but I was wrong, I want to learn as much as I can because I'm going for animation for my career choice and I need to learn as much as I can to achieve my goals and for the companys I'll work for. thank you though.
