Okay, so I was playing the game and 2 good players were arguing, and the topic of spamming came up
Goku was claimed to have been spamming (don't know what) and the other player lost, yet, I was able to beat this Goku without much hassle.
Question, providing said spam does not stun or incapacitate the player, would it be considered counterable and thus fair game? as most tactics I have come across are counterable in one way or another.
Does not knowing about how to counter a move make the attacker or the defender the unskilled player?
for example. beams are so overpowered, yet easy to avoid by simply moving left or right, or blocking (preferably, both)
The main aim is to incite discussussion, so, discuss away

for me, a move that can't be dodged(like going up and shoot) and continuously using blasts that make opponent unmovable is spamming and unskilled fighting... a good player must use that things which opponent can counter..

Personally speaking, I think spamming is a semi-legitimate tactic for winning a "must win" fight. However, it's one that I don't agree with for reasons of sportsmanship.
Going into a fight full bore, all or nothing, and completely ripping into an opponent might be great for an anime(See Goku vs Racoom), but in real life when folks are playing a game to have fun, it's extremely discomforting to be stuck on the wrong end of a completely one sided fight.
If the other person is obviously struggling to keep up with your skills, you should probably tone down how hard you fight to give them a sporting chance.
That's my view, anyways, since I'm a nice guy. Jerks, however, will be jerks.
When it comes down to it though, the real skilled player can win without resorting to the use of cheap tactics.
