That's kind of odd, it's suppose to support it... No clue what's wrong there, but maybe you have an older version of the software, or it was corrupted somehow when you installed it?

it's cool I had an old version I updated it and now the character works  thanks now I know how to make characters it all works, any way how do I extract animations off other characters?

If by "extract animations from other characters" you mean the ones that are already exported, then no you can't since they have no bone data any longer once they're exported.
You can, however, load up one of the 3ds files from the SVN, and save out the animations from the biped, and reload them onto another character before exporting though.

I tried to get the Final Flash attack from Cell saga Vegeta but the animations inhaled when I put them on the other model
