Gohan gets his buttocks wrecked by Super Saiyan Brolly and then Trunks and Goten team up and stuff and THEN Goku somehow comes down from heaven and Kamehamehas him to death with the other two.....I wouldn't say Gohan did well

I think that Brolly was weaker in his 2nd coming.Reasons:
1)He was frozen so he couldn't regenerate or rise his powerlevel
2)He doesn't have green hair,I taked the green hair in the 1st movie as a sign of his high legendary power
3)I don't have anymore reasons >_>

A Super Saiyan 2 doesn't have sparks all the time,take for example the fight between Vegeta and Kid Buu,Vegeta was a Super Saiyan 2 and he didn't have any sparks.

I noticed that from that movie they never used the sparks again,even in movie 13 Goku Super Saiyan 3 didn't have the sparks,is he a Super Saiyan now that he doesn't have sparks?

Yeah, a Super Saiyan 2 hasn'tt sparks everytime, but you can see it at least in 1 scene. Or did you see any Super Saiyan 2 battle withoout sparks?

Maybe because he was in Super Saiyan 3 just some seconds and he transformed so fast, or a mistake, like 1000 mistakes in Dragon Ball Z.

I just doubt it because Brolly was "killed" by some Super Saiyan, a Super Saiyan 2 is a LOT, LOT, LOT stronger than a Super Saiyan, so Brolly's power grows too fast... and in 5 minutes should have a Super Saiyan 3 level *intense laughter*

Well in the 1st movie Goku used a cheap move to open his wound that Brolly had since he was a baby,Paragus tells that story.
