okay everytime I lock onto somebody, the game just exits out. everything else works fine but as soon as I lock on, the game just exits, any help

That's because you are on the newest revision, not the stable revision 1536.
Anything above it is for development only.
So right click your zeq2lite folder => tortoisesvn => update to revision, then enter revision 1536 manually instead of head revision.
