I heard Akira Toriyama helped with designing these textures so I decided to extract every single one of them and share with the community for further progress on this or whichever other project you wish to work on.

I hope this is useful for everyone.

Can't allow this, since it's ripping from commercial games, and that would put ZEQ2-Lite in an awkward position. Locked, and link removed.

Unlocked. While I can definitely see the problem with using commercial/licensed textures, I don't see a problem with studying the techniques used in the textures and replicating/extending them with your own style.
As long as the original poster combines all of the textures into one massive image (an atlas) and/or watermarks them, it would be acceptable as an artistic study and not so much just a plop and replace endeavor -- which has no educational value.

Alright, I've archived it all into one MASSIVE PDF file.

I don't blame you for being suspicious mima, and protecting ZEQ's name , but this could be a good reference. It can also be a learning experience. I think it's only illegal if you use these textures on the next beta release.

I think it's naive to think that anyone is going to use these as "examples". I see enough superdbz and raging blast textures pop up into addon maps. That even get released that way too.

And I think it's presumptuous to classify the intentions of an entire community based on the actions of a few. Even you likely started by studying existing texture works if I'm not mistaken, TRL.
The point is that you can apply nearly anything in degrees of good OR bad usage. After all, we'd hardly benefit from removing all of the knives in the world simply because a few people get stabbed.
If even just ONE of the aspiring artists on these boards finds usage of learning from another's work, then inspiration/growth has been achieved.

The thing is the ones who are likely to make textures themselves don't need this. I have taken inspiration from super Dragon Ball Z before, but I never looked at an actual texture, just game screenshots.
Besides that, the only ones in the whole community that have tried to make their own textures are rasengan, Baldwin and hoodjuro. They probably did it without these.
So basically this is just giving an excuse to the uninspired ones to trace, which generally doesn't lead to much self improvement.
The ones who are likely to make textures, probably don't need this in the first place.

Agree, remember when people tried to use Budokai Tenkaichi 3 textures?
