Gimp is truly one of the most simple to use programs there is.
Just search up a tutorial on YouTube.

Yes, read tutorials. To be honest, I just mess around with GIMP until I figure out its more practical functions. I know that the interface is a little confusing sometimes, so I know what you mean when you don't know how to use a certain function. I think I could be much better at GIMP if only I read some tutorials, but meh... I am not really dedicated to the program.
