I just wondered why the present maps though aesthetically true to the series don't have any content to make them unique to ZEQ2 lite.

Meaning I compared the maps to the Dragon Ball Z game series released on the PlayStation 3/XBox 360 and even those made for earth special forces and bid for power and each map is simply aesthetic and accurate to anime/manga visuals, like a backdrop for the main focus of the game which seems to be combat.

As far as those games go (the console ones) the camera is locked in place because the focus is on combat.

In ZEQ2 lite this is not the case since the player can free roam and go exploring. If the combat is unique why not the maps?

The argument given in this case usually is that ZEQ2 is supposed to be true to the anime, which it is at present, but I've seen that it's the elements distinct from the anime that players seem to prefer.

for example- The desert map - Players prefer the cave area and the many collisionless floors, which are bugs, but to them qualify as easter eggs.

Also from the present maps
I've yet to see anything that qualifies as a strategic map, except maybe some areas of desert (hiding behind a cliff face and the canals in Namek.

I'd like future maps to offer certain advantages depending on where you are in the map, and I think (considering the majority of the players seem to prefer desert over landing) that this is a general sentiment.

Personally I feel that the focus ought to be on maps not made by the game series available on the PlayStation 3/XBox
which is why I chose N79 for my map.
- the interior/exterior is barely covered in the anime which provides a lot of potential to add unique elements to the map.

I agree that the game is supposed to be true to the series but it should not be limited to being able to have ZEQ2 lites gameplay in locations common to the game series (and earth special forces/bid for power)

As far as the upcoming maps (besides mine) I look forward to

king kai's planet (for the coding that'll allow you to walk all over the circumference of the planet and the interior of his house)
space map with freiza's ship - (for the automatic doors and elevators, though I hope there's a planet you can land on and several surprises, since once you know the ship inside out there isn't much else in the space around (unless a few asteroids are added)

Again as is the case with freiza's ship and my map the most sought after element was "will there be interiors" <- something not available in the other Dragon Ball Z games.

I have a feeling this will be the game's most frequently played multiplayer map. Very unique indeed.

That, and the fact that no other Dragon Ball Z game has ever had or used this map.
