This sky is much better then the first one, the first one was too bright and no body can see the other guy in the fight, now its better.

Generate a simple lightmap over it like we did with landing and you'll be able to make out the shapes much more easily.

edited and animated by me

so I just got an 3D skybox now I must add mountains this and that and it will look like a map without ending^^

plan for this map adding more mountains make a review clouds fake mountains moveable sky

in the first picture you can see some small darker grass that's what we call lightmaping here are 2 pictures from the difference


to say this short the grass contains shadows(details) in it small but you can see it in ingame

for info I just added details from @shared folder its just for making the terrain in some parts darker its map stages also

it's not really a shadow itself its some detailed stuff but I can do shadows in 3ds max Very Happy

and no it's not another grass texture I'm using it's the same

Oh of course, you mean the "shadows" in the texture. That's just called having a decent texture. You don't seem to grasp the concept of a lightmap.

You have a second texture overlapping the entire map putting large shadows to differentiate the hills in the terrain by the means of alpha mapping.

this is the word I didn't remember *laughing out loud*!!!!!!! jeah it's not really a shadow its a black and white detail texture that I got from the @shared folder and made a shader for this so just as you said its overlapping my grass texture

but its looking like that the grass has shadows in it

No no it shouldn't overlap every tiled grass texture, but the entire map. And you can't use the one from landing since that has a different terrain. You should make it yourself, and make a shadow side for each hill.
