UPDATE: You've made it! Thanks for all the donations! We have enough to pay for 2 years of hosting the site, and development SVN's!

It's sad, but it looks like we may not be able to keep hosting this site, forums, SVN, team SVN and everything else hosted on this web server, unless the funds are met to allow continued hosting.
The date until we get cut off is 2010-06-06, June 6th 2010.
Dreamhost hosting costs $190.80 every two years, but unfortunately I can't afford to pay it myself anymore (currently a student where income is low!).
So I humbly ask, for donations to raise enough funds to pay for another 2 years of hosting.
I will try to setup something so that those that donate get special privileges (like access to the internal team build) or so, but that will need to be discussed with other team members first. All those that donate will definitely be mentioned in a news post and listed under the credits for the game.
If donations exceed the total required, then they will carry on over for the next 2 years of hosting, or if you wish a refund.
If we don't reach the total required, then all donations will be refunded back, and the host will shut us down.

Since Paypal is rejecting me today I will try tommorrow. And it could help if you built up a larger audience. Domi make some more YOUTUBE videos
and name them Dragonball Z so people will see them more often.

I can't because I'm broke until the summer...when I have a job..and I doubt there are 19 people willing to donate 10 bucks because the site hasn't made much progress in the game =/ (Not complaining but just saying how it will look to others who haven't been here long)

Are there not alternative options for forums? Like free web domains? Pretty sure you can get something like that, sure it's not as nice as this but it isn't SO bad and inconvient especially since you won't have to pay 200$ every 2 years. You could also use a free domain until you get enough money or people donate.

Well, the forums isn't the biggest issue, it's the SVN's and other projects we have hosted on it. Lose the host, and we lose a place to do SVN development.

Did you consider adding adsense to the website? Probably won't help paying the complete sum but a few bucks should come together this way and it'd be an alternative for people who don't have the means to donate via paypal. Clicking on a banner once a day shouldn't hurt anyone, you can probably even pull clever tricks with the banner disappearing if a person clicked it in the last 24h so it wouldn't even be discomforting.

Yeah, this is something I've looked into before and discussed with Brad, but he says it won't be worth it. Brad really dislikes ads  but it won't hurt to try it out.

Well, have yet to find someone who likes ads. 
Another option which I think would be pretty fair is disabling ads for those who donated $5+.
