These reality TV paranormal celebrity search party shows don't help convincing me that something is there or not, due to how easy it is to fake it.
I was passively watching Ghost Adventures on TV and, nah. Not convinced.
They use things like infra red light to light up the scene so we can see it, while the 'adventurers' had only their sense of smell, touch and hearing to move around.
There is absolutely no point in that! If your going to use light to illuminate the place, might as well use a normal torch. Infra red light is still light, just at a different wavelength that our eyes can't see, so what difference does it make to 'ghosts' which aren't an entity that rely on human vision?
The only thing that makes me suspect there such things can exist, is that my door bell rings sometimes every couple of nights, when there is no one at the door, and there isn't even batteries in the ringer for someone to ring the bell anyway! My mom thinks it's my nan, because it's started doing that after she died which was about 9 years ago.

My door bell rings sometimes when no one is there, but it definitely has batteries in it for it to ring but no ones there -_- its weird.

have all of you considered that you have bad instalation in your house and that wind might go through those empty spaces what may cause "bell ring" because wind moved it...and strange sounds can be caused by wind too

I've never seen ghosts, I've experienced the hearing too!
I live in a town now, but when I was small, I used to go to my village for vacations.
My family used to sleep in my grandpa's house (which was passed on to him by his father). At night we could hear the sound of someone pumping the handpump
when no one was awake, at about 12 or 1 at midnight. But because my grand parents already knew that there would be no one there, we were not allowed to go out to see who was pumping it, they'd tell us we were hearing things, but when we grew up, my mom told me the whole story!
And my grandpa says that he had seen great grandma's ghost in the house! I haven't been there for a long time now. I hope all the things have been settled down now1
Beside my grandpa's house, was a clan of some people, it was believed that they used to contact ghosts and things. But its still a mystery!
