What's your favourite fight in all of Dragon Ball Z/GT (or just original Dragon Ball?)? Why so?

I think mine would be Goku/Gohan VS Cell. I think it was the first Dragon Ball Z fight I had seen, and got me into the anime. It's also quite well animated and was interesting to see how Cell would be defeated, which was, of course, with Gohan going Super Saiyan 2, which was very epic .

While we're at it, what's your least favourite fight?

it might be the Majin Buu fights for me. Dragon Ball Z villains always had the problem of being typically visually displeasing/unintelligent (bar Cell/Frieza, and slam word filter) but Buu and Babadi just took it too far . It's also here where Super Saiyan 3 was introduced which is a little bit silly, in my opinion. I think it would'a been best if they ended the series after the Cell fight but, hey, that's just me!

what the heck FRIEZA VS Goku WAS HORRIBLE IT WAS TOO LONG
the only good thing that happened was Goku turning Super Saiyan

Dragon Ball Z was superb till captain Ginyu saga everything that happened was epic

I have to agree with esfer I liked frieza vs Goku the first ep I saw was when Goku turned Super Saiyan so what if the fight was long what does that have to do with it my second favorite battle was Goku vs Piccolo jr (dragoball) it was epic especially the ending

Yeah, that battle was awesome too. Sincerely, the battles in Dragon Ball (not Z or GT) were a lot more creative.

Piccolo vs 17 is such a epic but underrated fight

Goku VS Tenshinhan (tenkaichi tournament) the finals.

Brings me up memories of childhood, watching Dragon Ball each day after school and then getting out and talking with my friends about it and training like in the anime *laughing out loud* we were soooooo addicted. I was like the 1th grade back then, haha. Those were the days !

Yup, Goku vs Frieza. Although Goku should have died along with planet Namek and the series should have ended. Would have made the fight 100 times cooler!

I thought the original fight between Goku and Vegeta was pretty slam epic. I liked the beam struggle they had. One of the most epic scenes in the entire anime. I also like Majin Vegeta vs Super Saiyan 2 Goku. Goku and Vegeta were ALMOST even during that battle and both were beaten to bloody oulps. In the end though, Vegeta deceived Goku and it ended there.

Cell vs Gohan was also very awesome.Gohan's Super Saiyan 2 transformation was very awesome and well animated to the very end.

I agree about the first Goku vs Vegeta, that was a cool fight. I don't really like Majin Vegeta vs Super Saiyan 2 Goku though, it just seems poorly animated, and a bit... silly in parts (Vegeta and Goku hitting their knees together).

Oh, another good one - Future Gohan vs. Androids :p

I thought Goku was hiding the fact that he could transform into a Super Saiyan 3 as to not hurt Vegeta's pride.

Frieza saga had lots and lots of fighting, every single character had a role to play and did something useful. It's my favorite saga because of this And the fights were not all one sided, like the majority of the Android/Cell saga was. There were only 2 evenly matched fights in that saga I think? Piccolo vs 17 and Goku vs Cell?

Even the weaker characters managed to deal visible damage and get some hits in. Vegeta vs Recoome fight for example. Gohan had lots of fighting too Watching him develop and grow maturely was great too, like when he was trying to bring Piccolo and Bulma back to the ship for safety near the end of the Saga, collecting the dragon balls and tricking Vegeta, he wouldn't of been able to do that if he were the same as he was in the Saiyan saga

So my favorite is Goku Vs Frieza. No silly "Hah hah my power is infinite and I can regenerate any damage"

The best fight as I felt were in the shadow dragons saga(GT). The condition went serious and serious and finally Umega was complete. Plus Gogeta Super Saiyan 4 was too cool. But I hated the hanging of the fusion due low please. Goku's Dragon Ball eating is so lacking. But still, the big bang kamehameha was awesome.
