( my guess would be Gohan Super Saiyan 3 )

Tarble's ultimate is when he hits his opponent to the ground and he calls his Saiyan ship and it crashes land at the opponent. It kind of vacuums for a ultimate D:

So did they actually make seperate animations for those or do you still have 3 to 5 skelitons with just different sounds, sprites and skins?

You never noticed?
Till now all the games past Budokai 3 used the same formula to fill out their character roster.
They made about 3 to 5 characters, depending on the game, made special animations for them (different for each character) and then reused those 3 to 5 animation sets for the other 50 characters. So basically they copy, pasted the animations from one character to another, while just changing the character models.

I imagine there was some level of reuse in the animations and effects, but it'd be just plain impractical from a developer/design standpoint to do completely unique assets again and again for subtle differences that HARDLY even existed (none at all majority of the time) in the series.
Keeping your assets non-discrete/abstract and reusable with infinitesimal permutations based on procedural alterations is severely more efficient, robust, flexible, and time sensitive with very little detrimental cost outside the scope of devising the initial system.

that's true. It is more cost and time efficient, but it drops quality to a degree. Not to mention the newest Dragon Ball Z games are almost an exact copy of their predecessors with nothing new past a few animations that again got reused on a few more characters.
Id prefer them going into a different direction like that Dragon Ball Z game that was made by the street fighter developers. Forgot what its name was, but they had a limited rooster of characters where each character had their own fighting style. Quality over quantity.

Your thinking of Super DragonBall Z.
Also Raging Blast has characters with their own fighting styles which are different. O.o

From what I saw in the videos, its only about 5 different sets. So 5 different styles for what 40+ characters.
And yes it was Super Dragon Ball Z

Also android 14 and 15 are great and strong. Not really. The only significant thing android 14 and 15 did was getting absorbed by android 13 =/
