Hey guys,
I got some posts on my Capsule Corp. map that said it needs to be bigger and better. So I've been working on it since then. So here it is, the new and improved Capsule corporation map, renamed to West City! its twice as big and I added a lot of stuff in there. so check it out and let me know what you think! Also if you want to test the map out let me know, then I'll put up a download link.

You need some work on the palm tree leaves. They shouldn't be all on one plain like that.
But I like it. Good job.

Hey great map.
Here are the critz
1. Tress needs to be 3D or have 4-6 vertical planes on the log.
2. You definitely need a 3D skybox. The current state of your map is TOO small. ;p
3.Some textures need to be changed. OR you can tile the existing on by the SHADER NOT 3DS Max.
4. Your cloud's should NOT be integrated with your sky texture, it throws everything off.
If everything is done which I explained above. The final product should be good as new
OR!! You can just hand the map over to me in pm. And I'll work some shader magic.

Actually, the colors are fine, the problem is the lack of a lightmap of some form to provide shading on the buildings, ground, and what not, so you can distinguish forms and distance. Everything else is fine.

That's why I'm waiting on him to toss the map to me, so I can do something to it.

No you should just not use pure white colors. A very bright grey that's almost not distinguishable from white, will not shine.

Hey guys,
thanks for the reply's and feedback. I've been pretty busy lately so sorry if you feel I ignored your posts. to be honost, I'm still figuring the whole mapping process out. its only the second map I ever made, and I'm aware of the elements in the map that look a little different than what you guys are used to from other great mappers in this community. I will continue to work on this and different maps soon to come. I'll get better don't worry, but in the mean time please bare with me and enjoy the work I've posted so far.
also: I added the download link for this map. If you find the time please test the map out (with a friend preferably.) and let me know what you've learned.
to install: simply drag the contents of the zip file into your ZEQ2 contents folder. start the game, and type /map westcity into your console window.(the console is accesed with the "~" button for those who don't know)

Great, a new good mapper Try to make your maps bigger and a bit more interesting, maps that looks more fight tactical, who wants to fight on a city anyway ?
I didn't say I don't like it Its very good

I would... There's several fights that occur in cities both in the series and in the movies, so why leave out a potential battleground? Different maps require different tactics.
A city map could lend itself well to to tactics where lowering your powerlevel to avoid detection before striking out of nowhere could be used more easily than on a wide open map, such as Raditz's Landing.
Would make for interesting cat and mouse fights, which weren't that uncommon in the series when the hero was clearly outmatched.(For example, Krillin hiding in some canyons after he got Frieza's attention with a well placed Destructo Disk from behind)

Good one. But this map has a lot of lags that I or you couldn't fix.
I am going to test it and see how it go's.
Bad news
2 thing. The Light textures were a bit high.
And you got a bit of a bug unfixed. Please fix it.
