Hey guys,
I've been working on a little something while working on the Kami's lookout map, and I wanted to share it with you guys.
Its Jingle Village!
For those of you wondering what this area is exactly:
Goku was brought there by Suno after the plane he was in crashed. After Goku took down Muscle Tower and saved the village, Android 8 decided to stay there. Jingle Village as seen in Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans
In Dragon Ball: Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans, (game: Raging blast 2) a Destron Gas machine was located here. Also Jingle Village is seen during the Kid Buu Saga when the residents of the village gave their energy to Goku's Spirit Bomb.
I think it could be a pretty cool area for ZEQ2 to fight in so I decided to put some more work into this.
Sounds good? Check out the screenshots and Let me know!
Remember, its still very much a work in proces and what I'm showing is just a little concept for the map.
greets, Hood

wow why not create the zone of battle with the red ribbon? is interesting,,, diving in that area .. Obviously you need to create a tower of red ribbon, perhaps within explorable .. will be a great invention

Yes a muscle tower included would be good. As I remember though it's still pretty far away from the village so the map should be big. Also kid Goku arrived there by crashing a plane. It should be there somewhere too. I don't know if you are able to model/texture something like that. Could be a challenge and since you like them.
Pro tip: shadows in snow are blue up to almost purple, never grey.

Hey guys,
So you like the idea! Awesome, thank you all so much for those nice comments, I really appreciate it!
yeah NELLO!! and TRL I really wanted to add the muscle tower to the map too, since its close to the jingle village its gotta in it. hope I can make it look good. And about the plane, I don't know if I can make a decent model of it in the editor I use but I'll give it a shot! you know I'll take that challenge.
Well I've been working on it a little, while working on the lookout map again so here is an update on the progress I made. Check it out and let me know!
of course its still way to simple and premature to even call it a map yet but I just like to share the progress since the feedback is always helpful.

Those background mountains look way too repetitive right now. You could use the Raditz map ones in theory. Or at least the textures for it.
Also again, blue shadows. Don't use a hint of grey in them. They should be almost as blue as the sky. It's right there in your ref too.
You're going to have to want to make little hills like in the ref and texture one side with a blue shadow. You're going to need uvw mapping for this. Than you can do the same for a one side shadow for the houses and trees. Hard contrasting shadows (white/blue) is what makes a snow landscape a snow landscape.

Hey guys,
Here's another update on the progress made for the Jingle Village map.
Thanks TRL for those pro tips! They are very helpful. I started making changes based upon them and it's already looking a lot better. So is this comming a little close to what you ment?
Check out the screen and let me know what you think.

Pretty cool stuff Hoodjuro.
You've also brought up a feature that perhaps could be added I.e. shadow color for characters that is defined per level/map. Lets see what the devs think about this.
