Is it possible to make? Theoretically, yes.
Is it going to be added? Most likely not for a good long while, if ever.

What would be the point of adding that anyway when it only happened with Vegeta? Goku didn't glow like this when he transformed and neither did Gohan. It looks cool and all but that effect only ever happened in 1 episode...

I think he's saying it should play briefly after transforming, then disappear.

Actually, it was up pretty much through that entire scene, so it didn't just disappear(Implying it would be an always active effect, separate from the aura itself, but overridden when the actual aura is being used). I believe that was the only time such a glow was used for the Super Saiyan transformation though, so adding it is not really a high priority.

Meh, in my opinion, that's just Toriyama or that times episode supervisor having an experimental aura ring around Vegeta. Stuff like this happens in other episodes too, where they add different little details like that, just for eye candy. They don't have any meaning really.
Toriyama was never the kind for super-consistency, hehe.

There is probably no consistency with such effects because their purpose was to show how much more powerful one character is to another. Vegeta becoming Super Saiyan for the first time was a big deal and he massacred 19 in less than 10 hits. That glow was simply to show his superiority at the time. Once he went up against stronger characters like 18 where he was supposed to be defeated, the effect was gone. It was just eye-candy and nothing more.

wrong , maybe it appeared because Vegeta put too much energy in the transformation to show his power to the androids . Goku h add a more violent one probably because he was in a very intense situation thus making him even more angry as a Super Saiyan , Gohan did not have it because he didn't really have a real situation and was just a weak transformation

It could be not knowing how to control it so their power leaked too much.
As its shown in show, only Goku and Gohan learned to control staying longer in Super Saiyan form because of draining.
Because lots of power leaked it could be that, that rim showed.

That doesn't make sense. We've seen every Saiyan at their maximum while using Super Saiyan and yet this glow was only seen once in the anime. And how can one put "too much energy" into their transformation? That also doesn't make sense.
If I'm wrong about this being nothing more than eye-candy to hype up the fact that Vegeta had finally achieved Super Saiyan, then why is it that in fights that Vegeta lost this aura isn't seen?

it makes absolute sense , it could also be with Super Saiyan only , like in Super Saiyan 3 the whole body radiates and like in Super Saiyan 2 you get bolts

Najeeb - He just told you that in some cases simple Super Saiyan form doesn't have that shine so it's not that...

You mean like this kind of glow, but instead you want it in Super Saiyan? If so, then all you have to do is max out, or set near maxed your bloom intensity. Gotta be careful though because some maps will look a bit unappealing or so if there is too much bloom and also have bloom alpha set near your bloom intensity so you don't get a pixelated look around beams and players.

Personally, I'm leaning a bit towards this. If you really pay attention throughout the entire series, there is very little consistency with the auras in general.
One scene will show a tendril like aura, another will show as something akin to static discharges surrounding the entire body, and another would show the classic spikey or fiery type auras(sometimes with bolts of electricity flaring around them)... Almost all of these aura types have been used by both Goku as well as Vegeta(and maybe a few others as well), depending on the point in time in which you're examining.
Some of it might simply have been eye-candy, other instances might have been the animators trying to relay how much energy the character was releasing at the time, but sometimes it's difficult to judge.
And for the record, you don't pump power into the transformation itself, you power up(or in ZEQ2 terms, you charge your energy and raise your powerlevel). What it probably was is that Vegeta pulled out all the stops and powered up to release all of his energy to try and intimidate the androids, as is what he's good at.
He even made a point of it that he was attempting to intimidate them when he asked Android 19 if androids could experience fear. If you watch the entire scene, from when he first kicks 19 off of Goku, to when Gero runs off, probably about 90% of the fight between Vegeta and Android 19 was pure intimidation intended to demonstrate for everyone there(not just the androids, but for Piccolo, Tenshinhan, Gohan, and Krillin as well) that he was not to be trifled with.
The only reason it took Vegeta so long to defeat the android is because he was testing 19 to see if it was really as strong as "the boy from the future" had claimed. Suffice to say, Vegeta was disappointed in 19's abilities...

Oh oh oh! Now that you mention that, I remember reading on the dragonball wiki that aura may appear blue or white depending on how intense the person is feeling... maybe the shape and detail of the aura could mean the same.

Awful source for Dragon Ball Z information, and that's just putting it lightly. Taking information from dragonballwiki.com is akin to thinking Dragon Ball Evolution is an accurate portrayal of the Dragon Ball universe.

Well thanks for clarifying but was it really worth looking into? All I did was state what I thought. It wasn't going to add to, benefit or take from the project . Still thanks for letting me know.
